Walking is in the top 3 of the best things you can spend time on (I will not elaborate) -- and so, perhaps convincing myself, as it's good to do, I love it.
(At the moment, I've somewhat fallen out of love, though), but still, I walk a lot.
Do you ever go to the store and decide to try out a new flavor of some food or drink, and then for a while after, you're slightly obsessed with it?
Well, sometimes I get obsessed with different kinds of walks... Evening walks, morning walks, city walks, mall walks, name it, I've done, loved and hated them.
For a while, I was doing 'into people their homes' walks -- I found a way to make this work. Don't worry about the logistics; that's not what this painting is about.
Because obviously, it's about when I joined some somber old lady. She would stare at these curtains for hours. If only I could transfer the feelings she radiated, you would be amazed.
And once, I couldn't hold myself anymore -- I walked up to her and said: nothing. Instead, I took a step back and painted this.
Attempting to capture my feelings at that moment.
