Over Zen Museum

Ik hou van kunst, en ik ben een beetje geobsedeerd met het maken van meer, altijd proberen iets nieuws te maken, iets beters. Ik woon in een prachtige stad genaamd Den Bosch die me veel inspireert om kunst te maken.

Any good piece of art changes with time, and that's what gives it staying power. Every time you come back to it, especially, and primarily, if your life has changed, the painting will reflect those new changes -- to give new meaning. A mirror doesn't have that property, and that's fine -- because it's not an art piece, it doesn't need such staying power; Mirrors change with time before time can make their changes reflect on them. And no, I'm not entirely sure what I mean by that either. The important thing, I guess, for you to remember is that most mirrors will always change, regardless of your perspective -- but not this one. This mirror was captured right as some weird guy was in front of it. I'm not sure why, though the mirror got stuck that way and has reflected that picture since -- with that inability to change, it gained that same ability art has. And I don't mean anything with that. Except: it was a neat sight, and I wanted to share that with you.
