A normal (and I mean that in the most positive way) tree came into my vision. While this happens (probably) at least 100 times a day on average, this was materially different, as there was a bench with a direct view, which meant it was a perfect spot for a sketch. That, too, happens regularly. In the more recent future, I've stopped making paintings without some meaning. But because I'm working on different ideas about how to paint, I was actually looking for an excuse to paint. So I decided this was the most beautiful tree in the world. And that was all there would be to this story, except that in my excitement of the execution, I briefly showed the painting to my sister, parents, and finally, my baby (or I guess he's a toddler now) nephew. Who quickly remarked, 'Wow, what a big tree' -- and now THAT is all there is to the story.
