Born in what is now part of a former forestry city, I had no chance but to fall in love. Perhaps I like falling in love with what's around me. If you're going to be around something regardless, you might as well convince yourself it's remarkable. Making art is part of my daily routine, like eating or sleeping. It's just something I do, and I've made a lot of art about this beautiful place. But I've convinced myself that, as an artist, I should make art about the important parts of my beautiful city. So, I walked into the city. (With this girl I write about frequently.) Partially to make a new sketch covering part of the beautiful city. Finding a beautiful spot is trivial. Nevertheless, finding a good place where sketching is comfortable can be rough. So it took until the end of our walk for the pressure to sketch motivated me to sit down and actually do it. If I did not, you might call our walk a failure, which nobody likes being. At that moment, I sketched the entrance to the city for many people. The perspective everyone who comes in by train sees, and many others that use a car, bus, or foot.
